Dawson New Mexico Book Presentation by Nick Pappas

Pietro Scarafiotti and Nick Pappas made presentations during the Dawson, NM Reunion at the Raton Museum about Dawson's history and a miner's life in the mines. Nick is a well-known journalist whose book about Dawson is coming out in 2023 and will mark the 100th anniversary of the 1923 mine explosion. Pietro is a descendant of several coal mining generations that lived and worked in Dawson, NM.
